Quality Control Sampling Technician - 2nd Shift

Work Location: Dallas, Texas

Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Sampling Technician for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm, Monday–Friday, with some Saturday flexibility). This role involves sampling raw materials and packaging, supporting laboratory and production needs, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. The position requires physical activity, including heavy lifting, and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate sampling and documentation of materials.
  • Transport materials from receiving areas to the sampling room and maintain organization of inventory and supplies.
  • Perform sampling of raw materials and packaging for quality control testing, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of sampling areas, equipment, and supplies, including washing, sterilizing, and distributing as needed.
  • Document all activities and data accurately in daily logs and equipment record books, adhering to cGMP guidelines.
  • Support the maintenance of the Stability Program samples and related documentation, including annual retain sample inspections.
  • Assist with basic quality control laboratory activities and collaborate with team members to meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Adhere to safety requirements, utilize protective gear, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a cGMP-regulated industry, such as dietary supplement, food, or cosmetics manufacturing.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and email.
  • Scissor Lift Certification required (training provided if needed).
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and interpret data such as rates, ratios, and bar graphs.
  • Physically able to lift/move up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a moderate-noise, safety-conscious environment.
