Job Title: Production Supervisor

Work Location: Suffolk County, New York

Work Type: On-Site

Summary:

  • 1st shift, backup/successor to Plant Manager
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Production Workflow – Supervising daily operations, ensuring production schedules are met, and optimizing workflow for efficiency.
  • Quality Control – Monitoring product quality, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance – Enforcing workplace safety regulations, conducting safety training, and minimizing risks.
  • Team Leadership – Training, coaching, and managing production staff to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Equipment Maintenance – Overseeing machinery operations, scheduling maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Inventory & Supply Management – Coordinating with procurement teams to ensure materials are available for production.
  • Process Improvement – Identifying areas for efficiency improvements and implementing cost-effective solutions.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Maintaining production records, analyzing performance data, and reporting to management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Experience in wipes and pharmaceutical industries preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of production tools and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • English-Spanish proficiency required.
  • Thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate operational challenges and implement effective solutions, combined with strong organizational expertise to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations in an FDA/ GMP-regulated industry.
