Job Overview:
The Licensed Industrial Electrician will perform skilled electrical/instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work related to specialized electrical equipment and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment following established trade methods and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Qualifications & Experience
· 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial, cosmetics or food manufacturing environment.
· Industrial/commercial electrical construction experience (conduit bending experience necessary)
· Maintenance Electrician or Industrial/Commercial Electrician License.
· Ability to determine materials needs and quote.
· Knowledge of code (generally interior buildout)
· Ability to assess and design circuitry, wire size, components, connections, distributed from panel
installation of local disconnects up to 480vac 3-phase.
· Ability to work from lift as needed.
· Familiarity with industrial equipment/production setting is a plus.
· Experience overseeing a small crew as needed.
· Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, drives, relays, three-phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
· Preferred experience in the installation and setup VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
· Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
· Capable of install and troubleshoot basic 3-phase motors & control circuits Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
