Job Title: Sales Director

Summary:
The Sales Director will lead and expand retail and wholesale sales channels across the U.S. This role is for a seasoned sales professional with strong networks in the retail and wholesale IVD/medical device market and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Responsible for strategic sales planning, channel development, key account management, and overall sales execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand retail and wholesale distribution of IVD diagnostic kits.
- Identify, establish, and manage relationships with key retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Achieve sales targets and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Build and maintain strong networks within the U.S. retail and wholesale markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide product positioning and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Operations, Regulatory) to support product launches and customer requirements.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team as the business grows.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors.
- Established network and proven relationships within retail and wholesale distribution channels in the United States.
- Strong knowledge of IVD market dynamics, product distribution, and B2B sales.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, closing complex deals, and managing key accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience launching diagnostic products into retail markets (e.g., pharmacies, big-box retailers).
- Familiarity with reimbursement pathways, FDA-regulated products, and healthcare compliance.
- Leadership experience overseeing sales teams.
