Our client, a medical device manufacturing company, is hiring a Production Technician
Work Location: Baltimore County, Maryland
Summary:
This role focuses on hands-on assembly, inspection, and repair of electronic devices, requiring precision and attention to detail in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electronic devices, including soldering, circuit programming, and mechanical assembly tasks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality and proper function.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets as outlined in the manufacturing schedule.
- Complete and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, such as inspection reports and work orders.
- Maintain inventory of production stock and ensure materials are available for assembly needs.
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting on device assemblies as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Follow established protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in electronic product manufacturing or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-precision work with electronic and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with electrical circuitry testing equipment and basic circuit debugging skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete documentation meticulously.
- Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred: Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), medical device manufacturing, electronic quality management systems (eQMS), Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software, and electronic hardware assembly.
