Our client, a leading Life Sciences company, is hiring a Process Optimization Supervisor.
Work Location: Ocean County, New Jersey
Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing process improvement initiatives, production scheduling, and team leadership within a non-sterile filling environment. The position requires strong cGMP knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate process improvement projects, driving continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives across production operations.
- Develop and manage short-term production schedules in collaboration with planning and support teams, ensuring alignment with forecasts and operational goals.
- Partner with data analytics and operational excellence teams to gather, analyze, and present key performance indicators, driving accountability for production throughput and quality.
- Work closely with shift supervisors and project managers to ensure seamless execution of engineering and production activities across all shifts.
- Support investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventative actions, ensuring compliance with GDP and data integrity standards.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, flexibility, and high performance.
- Ensure documentation, reviews, and approvals are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and ensure adequate headcount to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the life sciences or a related industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in cGMP and GDP requirements, with the ability to communicate and apply these standards effectively.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and project management skills.
- Experience in process improvement, production scheduling, and cross-functional team management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to analyze data, develop visual presentations, and drive operational accountability.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with changing priorities.
