Summary:

Seeking a skilled laboratory technician to support the development and scaling of human stem cell models for disease research. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about cell biology and interested in applying advanced iPSC technologies to accelerate therapeutic discovery in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize protocols for generating induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models relevant to central nervous system and peripheral organ diseases.
  • Independently execute cell biology experiments, including culturing and maintaining human stem cells.
  • Utilize large-scale tissue culture techniques and contribute to automation processes for high-throughput applications.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to plan and carry out laboratory experiments efficiently.
  • Document experimental procedures and results thoroughly in clear, concise reports.
  • Apply innovative thinking and initiative to overcome technical challenges in stem cell model development.
  • Adapt to shifting project priorities and contribute to a dynamic, evolving research environment.
  • Maintain high standards of organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, neuroscience, cell and molecular biology, or a closely related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of laboratory experience in academic or industry settings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing human stem cell models and related assays.
  • Experience with automation and high-throughput systems for human pluripotent stem cell culture.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proven record of innovative problem-solving and successful application of iPSC technologies in research or drug discovery.
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
