Work Location: Bergen County, New Jersey

Summary:

Seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support inspection and testing of in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with documented specifications and quality standards. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, offering overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and testing of in-process and finished products following established procedures.
• Document and report any product, process, or quality system issues, escalating as necessary.
• Assist in training new inspectors on quality control processes and procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection, measuring, and test equipment according to protocols.
• Ensure quality control areas are organized and maintained to support operational needs.
• Keep accurate quality records in line with documented requirements and standards.
• Support the creation and management of sample binders and related documentation.
• Participate in additional projects and tasks as assigned to support quality initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is welcomed but not mandatory.
• At least 1 year of experience in inspecting, testing, or receiving in-process and finished products.
• Background in quality control inspection within any FDA-regulated environment is highly valued.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
• Ability to identify non-conforming products based on product specifications.
• Familiarity with inspection methods in a regulated quality control setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
