Summary:
Seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support inspection and testing of in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with documented specifications and quality standards. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, offering overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and testing of in-process and finished products following established procedures.
- Document and report any product, process, or quality system issues, escalating as necessary.
- Assist in training new inspectors on quality control processes and procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection, measuring, and test equipment according to protocols.
- Ensure quality control areas are organized and maintained to support operational needs.
- Keep accurate quality records in line with documented requirements and standards.
- Support the creation and management of sample binders and related documentation.
- Participate in additional projects and tasks as assigned to support quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is welcomed but not mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience in inspecting, testing, or receiving in-process and finished products.
- Background in quality control inspection within any FDA-regulated environment is highly valued.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Ability to identify non-conforming products based on product specifications.
- Familiarity with inspection methods in a regulated quality control setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
