Summary:

Seeking established private cardiology practices interested in integrating clinical research into their existing patient care services. This opportunity allows practices to participate in clinical trials focused on cardiovascular conditions, providing an additional revenue stream while maintaining current operations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and introduce private cardiology practices capable of conducting clinical trials.
• Facilitate the integration of clinical research activities into existing cardiology services.
• Support the practice in recruiting and enrolling patients with heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, or coronary artery disease for clinical studies.
• Ensure that clinical research activities do not disrupt ongoing patient care.
• Collaborate with research networks to streamline trial setup and execution.
• Maintain compliance with clinical research protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Promote the benefits of clinical research participation to both the practice and its patients.
• Assist in the ongoing management and oversight of clinical trial operations within the practice.

Qualifications:

• Licensed cardiologist with an established private practice in Puerto Rico.
• Experience treating patients with heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, or coronary artery disease.
• Interest in participating in clinical research and integrating it into current practice.
• Ability to maintain high standards of patient care while conducting research.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to collaborate with research networks and adhere to clinical trial protocols.
• Previous experience with clinical trials is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical research practices.
