Summary:
Seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide essential assistance to the sales team, ensuring efficient project management, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for supporting account managers, managing sample and pricing requests, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sales and internal teams to manage presales activities, ensuring timely delivery of samples, pricing, and documentation for customer projects.
- Act as a backup for account managers and customer service representatives, supporting key accounts and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Oversee project management tasks, including creating and tracking project requirements, managing CRM pipelines, and organizing project briefs for client submission.
- Serve as a liaison between sales, regulatory, quality assurance, accounting, and other departments to resolve presales issues and complete customer questionnaires.
- Manage and update trading partner contacts, process sample requests, and maintain customer contracts and sales agreements in relevant systems.
- Follow up with customers and internal teams on pending samples, projects, and quotations, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the process.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development to manage leads, support SEO activities, and assist with e-commerce platform processes.
- Participate in meetings, support sales calls or visits, and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of metrics data and ISO requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred.
- Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365) required; knowledge of Oracle preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task while setting priorities.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience with cross-functional collaboration.
- Capacity to build professional relationships with customers using politeness, patience, and diplomacy.
- Strategic thinking, decision-making abilities, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
