Summary:

This position is responsible for the repair, calibration, installation, and preventive maintenance of a variety of biomedical equipment and systems. The role requires travel between multiple cities within the region and involves ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely repair, installation, calibration, and inspection of various biomedical devices and instrumentation to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections and electrical safety testing on medical equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment and system malfunctions, providing technical solutions as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professional conduct in all interactions.
  • Accurately complete and submit all required documentation for equipment inspections, repairs, and failures within established timelines.
  • Maintain and properly care for all assigned tools, test equipment, and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, manufacturers, and personnel regarding equipment issues and solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while supporting productivity and billing targets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Biomedical Technician preferred.
  • CBET certification preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or a related field preferred.
