Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Work Location: York County, SC

Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory management. This role requires proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts to safely load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders by receiving, unloading, staging, stacking, and placing products in designated areas.
  • Prepare, package, and label goods for shipment, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
  • Conduct manual inventory counts and label stock for efficient identification and retrieval.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working order.
  • Complete inventory and invoicing transactions using SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Follow OSHA/DOT standards and adhere to all safety protocols and work practices.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling, preferably in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification or ability to complete forklift training successfully.
  • Basic math and computer skills; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard warehouse tools and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate motivation, and function effectively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel toe boots, and uniforms.
  • Ability to work an eight-hour shift in a fast-paced environment, with overtime as needed.
