Seeking a Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist for a contract role (2-3 months) to support bioanalytical and analytical sciences in the field of immuno-oncology therapeutics. The position focuses on the development, optimization, and execution of bioanalytical assays for therapeutic proteins, with a strong emphasis on anti-drug antibody (ADA) methodologies. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot ADA assays for biotherapeutic programs, focusing on multifunctional antibodies and Fc-fusion proteins.
- Independently conduct and analyze MSD- and ELISA-based experiments with minimal supervision.
- Support the development of fit-for-purpose bioanalytical assays, including PK, ADA, and NAb assays, for both nonclinical and clinical studies.
- Lead or assist in method transfer and validation activities with external contract research organizations.
- Prepare samples and analyze data to support bioanalytical study objectives.
- Maintain accurate and compliant electronic laboratory notebooks and contribute to technical reports, protocols, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality bioanalytical data and reports.
- Contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting project timelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field with at least 2 years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of comparable experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting ligand-binding assays using ELISA, electrochemiluminescence (MSD), or Gyrolab platforms.
- Working knowledge of pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity concepts, including ADA and NAb assays.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific rigor.
- Familiarity with electronic laboratory notebook systems (e.g., Benchling) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
