Job Title: Project Engineer

Summary:
Seeking a Project Engineer with experience in field-based project work, process design, and industrial environments. This role involves supporting technical decision-making, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position is on-site and requires strong communication, technical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical decision-making and resolve design and engineering issues for ongoing projects.
- Develop, review, and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and support equipment layout and piping routing from concept to detailed design.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including bids, proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and material lists.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resource availability and project progress.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing day-to-day technical support and coordination across engineering disciplines.
- Maintain organized project files and accurate technical documentation, supporting the development and maintenance of piping specifications and engineering standards.
- Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), support bid evaluations, and ensure compliance with safety priorities and industry protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and contribute to a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Construction, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
- 2–4 years of experience in field-based project work, including process design and layout, preferably in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing settings.
- Working knowledge of basic piping, civil, and structural systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and effective in complex project environments.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment and build effective working relationships.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
