Job Title: Medical Front Desk Specialist

Summary:

Seeking a motivated and organized professional for a front desk role in a medical setting. This position is contract-to-permanent, full-time, and requires Spanish language proficiency. The role involves providing excellent customer service, managing reception duties, and supporting administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact, greeting and welcoming patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Efficiently answer and direct incoming phone calls, ensuring timely and courteous communication.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, and process patient payments as needed.
  • Deliver administrative support, including data entry, filing, and scanning of documents.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff, utilizing Spanish language skills as required.
  • Assist with coverage at other clinic locations as needed, requiring occasional travel within the area.
  • Support the team with additional clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Ability to travel between office locations as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
