Summary:
Seeking an Entry Level Project Manager to assist in the coordination and execution of cross-functional projects within the life sciences sector. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience in project management, supporting research, development, and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing projects across research, development, and operational teams.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and dependencies to ensure progress and identify risks.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document notes, and track action items for team collaboration.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update dashboards using project management tools.
- Prepare and deliver status updates and reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Support resource allocation and prioritization across multiple functions.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or bottlenecks to ensure timely resolution.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include life sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, business, or related areas.
- 0–3 years of experience in project management, program coordination, research operations, or similar roles (internships, co-ops, and academic projects are considered).
- Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a scientific environment.
- Interest in biotech, drug development, or life sciences operations.
- Exposure to biotech or pharmaceutical environments (academic lab, industry internship, or co-op) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, MS Project) is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of drug development and R&D workflows is beneficial.
- Experience supporting scientists or technical teams is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing project management or life sciences certifications (CAPM, PMP, RAC, etc.) is welcomed.
