Summary:

Seeking a Project Manager to lead cleanroom design/build projects from initial concept through project closeout. This role involves direct oversight of design, manufacturing, installation, and acceptance testing, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Project Manager will also supervise engineering resources and contribute to research and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of cleanroom project delivery, including conceptual design, detailed estimating, coordination, and project closeout.
  • Directly supervise engineering resources to ensure all project requirements and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Coordinate procurement, materials planning, and production scheduling to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors and subcontractors, securing competitive bids and managing contracts to support project goals.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure all required documentation is completed and maintained.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews, select compliant materials, and ensure constructability and code compliance for all project elements.
  • Support research and development by exploring new market opportunities, testing new product lines, and participating in industry organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Science, or Architecture required.
  • Project management experience, preferably with cleanroom design and construction.
  • Management experience overseeing departmental or functional areas.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, materials planning, and cleanroom construction methods.
  • Experience with procurement, estimating, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-based technology and processes.
  • Expertise in HVAC systems and pharmaceutical cleanroom environments required.
  • Strong skills in project management, planning, logistics, and people management.
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions, including word processing, spreadsheets, and internet usage.
