QA Associate

Work Location: Cumberland County, New Jersey

Summary:

The QA Associate is responsible for managing quality assurance activities, including handling market complaints, overseeing quality control in production and warehouse facilities, and supporting compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, document, and respond to market complaints, coordinating with various departments to ensure thorough and scientifically sound resolutions.
  • Prepare trend reports and maintain accurate records of market complaints and quality-related data.
  • Write, revise, and deliver training on Standard Operating Procedures, testing specifications, and protocols for employees.
  • Inspect production and warehousing procedures, logbooks, and records to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, product release activities, and review of manufacturing records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor facility environments for microbial contaminants, oversee equipment cleaning and verification, and maintain trending data for environmental monitoring.
  • Coordinate the sending of samples to third-party laboratories, manage retained samples, and support product return handling and disposal.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned by quality management, with responsibilities split between multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance within FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food industries.
  • Ability to work at multiple locations within Cumberland County and Burlington County, New Jersey as required.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with co-workers.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
