Job Title: Weekend Maintenance Technician

Summary:
The Weekend Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility and utility systems in a regulated environment. This role ensures the reliable operation of critical systems such as water purification, steam generation, and HVAC, supporting manufacturing operations and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and utility equipment, including water purification, steam, HVAC, and compressed air systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures, implementing repairs to address root causes and minimize downtime.
- Monitor utility system performance, record critical parameters, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure utilities meet operational and compliance needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to facility alarms or emergencies as needed.
- Assist with the design, installation, and certification of system or equipment modifications.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and testing of fire protection, alarm, and security systems.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper use and accountability of tools and maintenance materials.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar GMP environments.
- Formal training and hands-on experience with HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical utilities including water purification (RO, WFI), and steam systems.
- Experience supporting HVAC systems for cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of distribution systems such as city water, process water, compressed air, gases, and steam/condensate.
- Strong working knowledge of plant utilities including boilers, chillers, and air compressors.
- Associate's degree or Technical School certification preferred.
