Associate Scientist

Summary:
Seeking a motivated Associate Scientist / Senior Research Associate to support scientific projects by executing laboratory experiments, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves hands-on bench work, data analysis, and contributing to research and discovery efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments using cell-based and biochemical assays, including ELISA and western blot, with minimal supervision.
- Develop and optimize analytical assays to support project objectives.
- Conduct radioligand assays while adhering to strict radiation safety protocols.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, generating figures and reports as needed.
- Maintain meticulous records of all laboratory experiments and results.
- Present experimental findings at team and group meetings.
- Assist with laboratory operations, including stockroom management and instrument maintenance.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functional areas to advance research projects and resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or related sciences.
- Three or more years of experience in cancer biology or drug discovery.
- Proficiency in molecular and cell biology assays, including cell culture, ELISA, and western blot.
- Experience with data analysis software such as GraphPad Prism, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust to evolving project needs and shifting priorities.
