Job Title: Principal Investigator- Psychiatrist

Summary:
Seeking a Principal Investigator- Psychiatrist to lead and oversee clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory, scientific, and clinical requirements. The role involves managing research protocols, supervising staff, and maintaining the integrity and quality of research data and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise research studies, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
- Ensure participant safety and provide appropriate clinical care throughout the research process.
- Direct and oversee research staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor data collection, review study data daily, and maintain high standards for data quality and protocol compliance.
- Coordinate with site personnel and external entities to ensure ethical conduct and regulatory compliance in all research activities.
- Participate in sponsor training, industry conferences, and meetings to enhance research knowledge and site capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records for monitoring, auditing, and inspection, and provide oversight for patient recruitment and retention.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions as needed, and assume additional duties as assigned to support research operations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified M.D. (preferably in Psychiatry).
- Three years of experience conducting psychiatry clinical trial research as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, or other highly relevant experience.
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain one.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
