Job Title: Packaging Technician
Work Location: Bergen County, New Jersey
Summary:
The Packaging Technician will be responsible for labeling and packing finished products and ensuring efficient operation of the packaging process. The position will prepare finished products for order fulfillment and documentation for sterilization of finished products. This position ensures that the solid execution of company programs remains consistent with overall company values. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of warehousing and logistics and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Verify line clearance of packaging area prior to starting packaging operation
- Label individual and bulk finished products
- Final package finished products in associated boxes with Instructions and Labels
- Complete documentation related to packaging and labeling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging and labeling area
- Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned
- Quarantine in-process materials based on inspection or test results
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels

Qualifications:
- Graduation from High School (degree) or the GED equivalence
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions with minimal supervision
- Ability to identify non-conforming product as specified by appropriate product specification
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience in a medical device or science related field is a plus
- Entry level position; good soft skills required
- Punctuality and commitment to a 40 hour work week
- Proven track record of reliability and professionalism
