Summary:

We are seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to own delivery for a large, high-visibility scientific data initiative supporting a strategic life sciences partner. This role is fully embedded with a single customer account and is accountable for execution across a complex, multi-workstream environment.
You will operate as the central driver of delivery—setting pace, maintaining alignment, and ensuring outcomes across technical, operational, and stakeholder dimensions. Success in this role requires comfort operating without a predefined playbook, the ability to make fast, high-quality decisions, and a strong bias toward action and accountability.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, anticipates risk before it materializes, and keeps momentum high across cross-functional teams delivering technically complex programs.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale scientific data and technology program spanning 10+ parallel initiatives across R&D and technical teams
• Lead daily execution rhythms (standups, checkpoints, delivery reviews) to maintain visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies
• Design and document end-to-end technical and operational workflows using visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, similar)
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including engineering, product, data, and domain specialists to deliver integrated outcomes
• Define delivery KPIs and success criteria; track performance against timelines, scope, and commitments
• Build and maintain live program dashboards and reporting for both internal leadership and customer stakeholders
• Manage interdependencies across cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, product development, and advanced analytics or AI initiatives
• Actively remove blockers, escalating risks quickly when outside your control to avoid delivery delays
• Balance customer expectations with delivery realities while maintaining urgency and execution discipline
• Create and maintain program documentation, operating procedures, and enablement materials to establish a single source of truth

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience leading complex technical programs with multiple concurrent workstreams
• Proven background in process design, systems thinking, and delivery blueprinting
• Experience delivering programs within biopharma, life sciences, or highly regulated technical environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously with measurable delivery outcomes
• Strong experience operating in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Hands-on experience with BI or reporting tools to support real-time delivery visibility
• Strong influencing skills, including the ability to lead without formal authority
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Middlesex County, Massachusetts most days of the week
• 7+ years of senior program or project leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale technology initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Formal project or program management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, CSM, etc.)
• Familiarity with scientific instrumentation, laboratory data ecosystems, or complex data integrations
• Understanding of how structured scientific data supports advanced analytics or AI/ML initiatives
• Working knowledge of GxP environments (GMP, GLP) and regulated delivery constraints
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership, including executive stakeholders
• Background working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or enterprise SaaS systems
