Production Technician

Summary:
Seeking a Production Technician with experience in small-scale manufacturing and a strong interest in learning new processes and techniques. The role focuses on gel production and requires high attention to detail, quality-driven work, and the ability to follow instructions. The position involves working in a production line and laboratory setting, handling sensitive components and chemicals, and may require occasional overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manufacturing processes to ensure timely completion of work orders and production goals.
- Prepare materials, chemicals, equipment, and work areas for production and engineering activities.
- Maintain inventory levels, store, retrieve, count, and weigh parts and materials as needed.
- Record and enter production and inventory data into databases accurately.
- Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment and tools.
- Conduct quality control inspections, testing, documentation, and manage product release or quarantine.
- Prepare, label, and package products according to specifications and assist in training team members.
- Support troubleshooting of production processes and equipment, and assist with cleaning and organizing production and laboratory areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing preferred.
- Demonstrated hand dexterity and ability to perform detailed work.
- Proven attention to quality and detail in previous roles.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including use of protective gear as required.
