Summary:
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal operation and efficiency of manufacturing equipment in a dynamic production environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize machine shop equipment for repairs and modifications as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status to relevant personnel.
- Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend and manage critical spare parts inventory to support ongoing operations.
- Contribute to the improvement of preventive maintenance programs and suggest process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school education required.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with general repair, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
