Job Title: Sample Logistics Associate

Summary:
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sample Logistics Associate to support sample management, shipping, and inventory processes for research and development activities. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on timely and accurate delivery of samples for various studies and trials.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of sample shipping, receiving, and inventory management for research and field trial needs.
- Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely sample delivery and resolve logistics issues.
- Maintain and update inventory tracking systems to reflect current sample status and availability.
- Prepare, label, and repackage sample quantities for distribution to various studies and collaborators.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements for handling and shipping chemicals and pesticides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill sample requests and support ongoing research projects.
- Monitor and manage sample backlogs, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Awareness of lab safety requirements for pesticides and chemicals, with ability to train on DOT sample shipping regulations.
- Experience in customer-focused logistics operations, preferably in a research or laboratory setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and external partners.
- Demonstrated motivation, high quality standards, and commitment to team success.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics best practices.
- Relevant education or training in logistics, supply chain, or a related scientific field is preferred.
