Job Title: Scientist/Senior Scientist Preclinical Development and Translational Science

Summary:
This position focuses on advancing preclinical development and translational science, with an emphasis on oncology biomarkers, cell-based assays, molecular biology, histology, and antibody drug conjugates. The role requires strong collaboration, experimental design, and project management skills to support clinical development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement experimental plans to address key translational questions supporting clinical development strategies.
- Oversee and coordinate studies conducted at external research organizations, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Develop, execute, and validate new and existing assays for biomarker applications in clinical research.
- Align activities and timelines with development teams to ensure effective integration of biomarker capabilities in clinical trials.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze, interpret, and communicate translational research findings.
- Prepare scientific documents, including presentations, biomarker reports, and regulatory submission materials.
- Apply expertise in antibody drug conjugate biology and conduct both in vitro and in vivo ADC testing.
- Manage external projects from initial scoping through to final data delivery, ensuring quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
- MS in a related scientific field; PhD preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in preclinical development and clinical oncology biomarker research.
- At least 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience with cell-based assays, molecular biology, and histology; in vivo mouse experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of antibody drug conjugate biology and experience with both in vitro and in vivo ADC testing.
- Proven ability to develop and validate biomarker assays suitable for clinical samples.
- Demonstrated success in managing external projects with contract research organizations from initiation to data delivery.
- Understanding of the drug development process from target identification through to marketing authorization.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical diagnostics.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
