Job Title: Project Engineer

Work Location: Johnston County, North Carolina

Summary:

Seeking a Project Engineer to support operational readiness, technical integration, and quality compliance for warehouse and facility projects. This role will focus on validation, system integration, and process optimization in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical setup and validation activities for facility equipment, storage modules, and material handling systems.
• Execute readiness checklists and participate in milestone reviews to ensure timely project delivery and operational launch.
• Support validation and integration of warehouse management systems, including SAP EWM and related interfaces.
• Develop and maintain interface agreements and process documentation for seamless system and partner integration.
• Coordinate with teams to validate data flows, troubleshoot connectivity, and ensure robust system performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and regulatory standards, supporting quality assurance processes and audit readiness.
• Provide on-site technical support during launch, monitor performance metrics, and implement escalation plans as needed.
• Document lessons learned, facilitate knowledge transfer, and drive continuous improvement initiatives post-launch.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, or a related technical field.
• Experience with SAP EWM or similar warehouse management systems.
• Familiarity with system integrations and equipment/computer system validation.
• Understanding of GMP and GDP environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
