Job Title: Packaging Line Leader

Work Location: Plymouth County, Massachusetts

Summary:

Seeking a Packaging Line Leader to oversee daily operations in the Packaging Department, ensuring production schedules are met and compliance with cGMPs and SOPs is maintained. This full-time, first-shift role involves leading a team, managing equipment readiness, and upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on the packaging line, ensuring adherence to batch records, cGMPs, and SOPs.
• Direct and mentor packaging personnel to maintain production flow and quality across various pharmaceutical product formats.
• Assist with equipment setup, serialization, and line changeovers according to the department schedule.
• Enforce compliance with gowning procedures and PPE requirements for all line personnel.
• Review and sign off on batch records, perform hourly control checks, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Monitor and maintain packaging equipment readiness, including line clearances and component accountability.
• Identify and address equipment issues, making adjustments or escalating as necessary to maintain safety and quality.
• Train new personnel, maintain a clean work environment, and report daily shift production metrics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college education or equivalent supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Ability to work occasional weekend overtime.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
• High attention to detail in cleaning, maintenance, and quality adherence.
