Job Title: Site Manager
Work Location: Cherokee County, Georgia
Summary:
The Site Manager, Clinical Operations, is responsible for leading and overseeing the operational performance of clinical research staff, ensuring the execution and coordination of clinical research activities in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage clinical research teams to drive study performance, enhance efficiencies, and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to meet study milestones, budget requirements, and deliver quality data.
- Monitor clinical trial systems and dashboards to oversee site and patient activities, ensuring timely and accurate data updates.
- Oversee resource allocation, site assignments, and team performance, identifying and escalating risks to study deliverables.
- Support and conduct training on protocols, case report forms, SOPs, and study timelines for staff.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GCP, FDA regulations, and internal policies throughout all clinical operations.
- Supervise site staff, assess compliance with study processes, and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Manage people-related activities including timecards, training, performance appraisals, and employee development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a clinical research coordinator (CRC) required.
- 1+ years of management experience in clinical research highly preferred.
- Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, email, electronic health records, web applications, and typing (40+ wpm).
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
