3rd Shift Maintenance Technician

Work Location: Gaston County, NC

Summary:

Seeking a skilled technician to perform a variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on production equipment during the 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am). This full-time, permanent role focuses on maximizing production uptime and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, including dismantling, repairing, and reassembling equipment and components.
• Perform metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, painting, and general facility maintenance as needed to support production operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, including control circuits and PLCs, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to operational systems, focusing on eliminating malfunctions and enhancing productivity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment, adhering to safety and operational standards.
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts as required for maintenance and facility tasks.
• Assist with workstation assembly, reconfiguration, and movement of furnishings as needed throughout the facility.
• Respond to additional maintenance requests and perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of four years’ experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic systems, including PLCs, preferred.
• Ability to perform welding, plumbing, painting, and general facility maintenance tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend process improvements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on the 3rd shift schedule.
