System Manufacturing Technician

Summary:

Join a team responsible for assembling and integrating advanced equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation, with a focus on maintaining production efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components, including wiring, soldering, and integrating subassemblies or finished products.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor equipment issues, and assist with more complex repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of production data and assembly processes.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols at all times.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to address production challenges and communicate concerns.
  • Support production schedules, including occasional off-shift or weekend work as required.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, including managing physical demands such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Experience operating and maintaining production equipment, assembly lines, or specialized machinery preferred.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail for quality checks, data recording, and assembly processes.
  • Demonstrated safety awareness and strict adherence to safety procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks; tolerance for occasional environmental odors.
  • Willingness to work on-site with occasional off-shift or weekend support as needed.
