Job Title: Machine Line Operator

Work Location: Chatham County, Georgia

Summary:

Seeking a skilled individual to operate and oversee production lines, ensuring efficient packaging processes and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor the operation of assigned packaging lines, ensuring correct materials and packaging standards are met.
• Track and document production data, including items produced, line speeds, scrap, and material usage.
• Adjust machinery as needed to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Compare production performance against established standards and make improvements as necessary.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Ensure bulk holding tanks are emptied efficiently to maximize product yield.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions, including safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Capable of performing simple calculations.
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and reporting.
• Physical ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor, including bending and lifting.
