Summary:
Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading outpatient facility specializing in advanced molecular imaging and theranostics. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements. The position provides the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art PET/CT and SPECT/CT technology in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of SPECT-CT and PET-CT imaging procedures, as well as theranostics protocols.
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging studies and assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive patient support, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the care process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records to comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities, contributing to protocol optimization and best practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in nuclear medicine and theranostics.
Qualifications:
- Active state Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) license (required).
- CT certification (required).
- Experience in theranostics or a strong interest in the field preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards relevant to nuclear medicine.
- Experience in outpatient or hospital-based nuclear medicine settings is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of scan types and thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.
