Customer Support Admin

Work Location: Durham County, North Carolina

Summary:

The Customer Support Admin is responsible for processing and managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify customer orders, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate order status and respond to inquiries from customers and internal teams in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate the return and replacement of inventory, including implants and reusable instruments, using appropriate shipping methods.
  • Monitor and manage expiring or expired inventory in the field, arranging for returns or destruction as needed.
  • Utilize various software platforms to track orders, manage inventory, and process sales order types efficiently.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure a low error rate in data processing and documentation.
  • Support the resolution of customer issues and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding requests or problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and achieve departmental objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer support, sales administration, or call center required.
  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with database software (e.g., Oracle, SAP), CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, chat programs, GSuite, Dropbox, Infor ERP, and R3ID Software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of an organization and medical professionals.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership, and ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
