Job Title: Research Sub I

Summary:
This position offers physicians the opportunity to participate in clinical research within general medicine trials, providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the integrity of clinical protocols, patient safety, and the generation of high-quality data. The role is supported by a structured training program and operational resources, making it suitable for those new to research or seeking to expand their involvement in clinical trials.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials, supporting study execution and patient care.
- Conduct study visits, perform physical examinations, and complete medical assessments for trial participants.
- Evaluate participant eligibility, monitor safety, and document adverse events and serious adverse events.
- Maintain strict adherence to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with clinical research coordinators, regulatory personnel, and the Principal Investigator.
- Assist with accurate source documentation and provide ongoing medical oversight throughout the study.
- Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and interactions with study sponsors as needed.
- Support strategies for patient recruitment and retention to ensure successful study enrollment and completion.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an active medical license in Arizona.
- Board-certified or board-eligible status preferred.
- Background in Internal Medicine strongly preferred; other specialties considered if aligned with study needs.
- Prior experience in clinical research is preferred but not required.
