Head of Sales Team, Wellness Division

Work Location: Hudson County, New Jersey

Summary:

Lead and expand a direct B2B sales operation within the U.S. MedSpa and clinic market, focusing on both personal account acquisition and the development of a high-performing sales team. This senior leadership role is ideal for professionals experienced in building sales organizations from the ground up, particularly in the aesthetics or wellness sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive direct B2B field sales, including product demonstrations and account closings at MedSpa, dermatology, and plastic surgery accounts, especially during the initial build phase.
  • Develop and implement a scalable sales playbook covering account qualification, presentations, objection handling, and closing protocols.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of priority accounts, progressing from outreach to account expansion and retention.
  • Design the sales team structure, lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of direct sales representatives.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, CRM frameworks, and performance reporting for accurate forecasting and accountability.
  • Develop and execute territory, channel, and product line sales strategies, including pricing and channel segmentation.
  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support new product launches through endorsements and case studies.
  • Monitor market trends, deliver strategic recommendations, and collaborate cross-functionally to align sales with marketing, operations, and business support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the U.S. aesthetic, dermatology, or medical device/cosmeceutical industry, with direct MedSpa or physician-dispensed channel sales experience.
  • Proven ability to close B2B accounts and build channel revenue structures in the U.S. market.
  • Experience building a sales team or go-to-market operation from scratch in a startup or early-stage environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing a direct sales team, including hiring and performance management.
  • Established network of MedSpa owners/operators, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, or aesthetic NPs/PAs in the U.S.
  • Knowledge of U.S. aesthetic market regulations (FDA, MoCRA, FTC promotional guidelines).
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Zoho CRM or equivalent) for pipeline management and KPI reporting.
  • Experience with skin booster brands entering the U.S. market is a plus.
  • Existing KOL network in dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical aesthetics preferred.
  • Familiarity with K-Beauty or other skincare positioning and ability to translate clinical credentials into commercial messaging is advantageous.
  • Experience launching physician-dispensed skincare or injectables in a direct sales model is preferred.
  • P&L ownership or budget management experience in a growth-phase or startup business is a plus.
