Senior Supply Coordinator

Work Location: Morris County, New Jersey

Summary:

The Senior Supply Coordinator is responsible for ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various teams regarding product transfers, purchase orders, system updates, and customer requirements. This role focuses on maintaining accuracy and timeliness in all supply chain processes, supporting planning, purchasing, quality, and production functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and enter purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements, and update systems with any changes related to shipping, costing, pack size, or quality.
  • Serve as a liaison between planning and purchasing teams to manage and communicate purchase order requirements and updates.
  • Provide proactive updates on order status to internal teams using various communication tools, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Review and analyze open order and supplier reports, proactively communicating updates and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Lead and document weekly meetings regarding supply issues, ensuring action items are tracked and completed.
  • Support resolution of pricing discrepancies, complaints, late deliveries, and quality or receipt issues through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and maintain accurate records for all supply chain activities.
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to manage supply coordination tasks, including tracking samples, submitting change control tickets, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Office 365.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with ERP software; experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in project management and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards.
