Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Work Location: Durham County, North Carolina

Summary:

Seeking a part-time, contract Manufacturing Technician to support hands-on production activities in an agricultural chemical manufacturing setting. This role involves periodic work as needed to assist the operations team with various production and logistics tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense raw materials and chemical compounds according to precise measurements.
• Handle powders and solutions, including buffer preparation and solution management.
• Blend and mix materials to meet established production specifications.
• Dry and seal materials in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Package and coordinate shipping of finished products to designated locations.
• Receive, move, and manage pallets and inventory within the facility.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all production activities.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and utilize required personal protective equipment at all times.

Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or production environments preferred.
• Comfortable working with powders, liquids, and chemical solutions.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to follow written standard operating procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work on a periodic or as-needed schedule.
