Job Title: Infusion RN

Work Location: Loudoun County, VA

Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Infusion RN to provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work with a manageable patient load, utilize advanced technology, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and accurately document patient health status prior to and during infusion therapy.
• Administer infusions and injections following established protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain and manage medical inventory and supplies to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Communicate effectively with referring and prescribing providers regarding patient status, order clarifications, and care plans.
• Supervise patients onsite throughout their infusion sessions to ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate autonomously in a clinical setting, managing multiple patients and prioritizing care as needed.
• Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in clinic operations, including occasional Saturday shifts, to support patient access and continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Virginia, with willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy or similar clinical settings, managing multiple patients simultaneously.
• Proficient in starting and managing peripheral IVs, with a minimum of 5+ insertions per shift.
• Current BLS CPR certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Strong IV skills and infusion therapy experience highly valued.
• Familiarity and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays per month as part of the clinic schedule.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and autonomous decision-making skills.
