Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Work Location: Broward County, Florida

Summary:

Seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and lead a team in a GMP-controlled environment. This role involves supervising production processes, maintaining safety, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing methods and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing staff, assign tasks, and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee blending, coating, tablet, bulk, and pharmacy manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Review and write batch records, SOPs, discrepancy reports, and conduct batch investigations as needed.
• Perform quality checks, maintain accurate documentation, and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Train operators on manufacturing processes and ensure cross-training among team members.
• Monitor and maintain a safe, clean, and cost-conscious working environment throughout the facility.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources and resolve issues.
• Analyze production and quality reports, revise schedules as needed, and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or technical degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 1-2 years of related experience/training; or high school diploma with 5-8 years in a GMP-controlled environment (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industry).
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience with encapsulation and tablet press processes, preferably with Bosch and Fete machines.
