Physician - Dermatologist
Job Title: Physician - Dermatologist

Summary:
Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist to serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator for clinical trials. This is a part-time, contract role (1099) averaging 10-15 hours per week, with no set end date. Candidates should be open to conducting study procedures at their own practice and must hold a valid state license. Compensation ranges from $150-$250 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support clinical trials as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator across multiple study phases.
- Conduct physical exams and clinical assessments for participant screening and enrollment.
- Determine patient eligibility based on clinical protocol criteria.
- Oversee participant safety, assess adverse events, and provide ongoing medical care during studies.
- Collaborate with research staff and external partners to ensure protocol adherence and data quality.
- Review and approve clinical trial documentation, including source documents and regulatory forms.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and sponsor requirements.
- Participate in site visits, monitoring, and audits as required by study protocols.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in California.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology; Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine also considered.
- Current or willingness to obtain Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical practice experience; clinical research experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with FDA, ICH-GCP, and clinical trial protocols.
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records and clinical trial management systems preferred.
- DEA license preferred.
