Summary:
This role focuses on developing and maintaining referral relationships with specialty healthcare providers, driving service adoption, and integrating advanced treatment options into clinical workflows within the Baltimore, MD territory. The position emphasizes relationship-building and territory management in a field-based capacity.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture referral relationships with oncologists, urologists, neurologists, and other specialty providers.
- Integrate healthcare services into clinic workflows by identifying optimal points for service adoption in patient care processes.
- Collaborate with practice administrators, managers, and key decision-makers to facilitate access and build strong connections.
- Educate clinical teams on advanced treatment options, clinical trial opportunities, and imaging capabilities relevant to their patient populations.
- Position the organization as a trusted extension of referring providers, ensuring seamless patient transitions and care continuity.
- Develop and execute daily territory management plans focused on high-quality interactions and long-term relationship development.
- Customize outreach strategies for each practice, recognizing the unique needs and key contacts within each clinical setting.
- Act as a connector, facilitating communication and collaboration between physicians, specialists, and referral sources to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare services sales, specifically selling services into clinical or practice settings (not pharmaceutical or device sales).
- Background working with specialty providers such as oncologists, neurologists, or urologists is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the healthcare sector.
- Strong organizational, territory planning, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to tailor communication and approach to various stakeholders, including physicians, administrators, and practice managers.
- Competitive, persistent, and self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving goals in a field-based sales environment.
- Comfortable facilitating introductions and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
