Job Title: Sub-Investigator

Summary:

This part-time position is ideal for a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant-Certified interested in advancing clinical research in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related fields. The role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to contribute to innovative research initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Sub-Investigator for designated clinical trials, providing oversight and ensuring adherence to study protocols.
  • Prioritize participant safety and enforce compliance with all research requirements throughout the study.
  • Conduct and accurately document physical exams and medical assessments as required by research protocols.
  • Deliver ongoing medical oversight during all phases of clinical trial activities.
  • Work collaboratively with coordinators, site staff, and research team members to facilitate efficient study operations.
  • Participate in meetings, site visits, monitoring activities, and audits as necessary for study progress.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, FDA regulations, and internal standard operating procedures.
  • Support the Principal Investigator by performing clinical assessments and procedures related to the study.

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Ohio.
  • Experience in clinical or healthcare leadership roles is preferred.
  • Competence in conducting study-related clinical assessments and procedures under supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to upholding ethical, clinical, and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary research setting.
