Job Title: Clinician, Rater

Summary:
This full-time position seeks a motivated mental health professional or psychologist to support clinical research in psychiatry and neurology. The role involves conducting structured interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and neuropsychological assessments to determine participant eligibility and track clinical changes in various psychiatric and neurological conditions. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structured clinical interviews and diagnostic evaluations for research participants in psychiatry and neurology studies.
- Administer neuropsychological assessments and standardized rating scales to evaluate symptoms across multiple conditions.
- Assess and monitor clinical changes in participants with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance use disorders, and Alzheimer’s disease.
- Support participant eligibility determination through comprehensive prescreening and clinical assessments.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy in assessment procedures to ensure inter-rater reliability.
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout all research activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth study execution and protocol compliance.
- Demonstrate adaptability by learning new assessments and incorporating feedback to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure or license-eligibility to practice in a psychology-related role.
- Clinical or research experience in psychiatry and/or Alzheimer’s Disease is highly encouraged.
- Prior research experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance.
